An idea germinated from a grant from Slow Food of NNJ as an initiative to combat childhood obesity and to inspire environmental education, led to view an unutilized courtyard as a classroom. We are immensely grateful to all generous supporters, donors, who donated time, talent, resources, cash, gifts or something else. All selflessly gave to benefit and to inspire sustainability. The School With Heart looks forward to nurturing more tasty crops and inquisitive young minds in the coming seasons.

Our New Composter: From the Table to the Ground and Back Again
Check out our groovy new composter that was purchased with a portion of the Slow Foods of Northern NJ grant money. Woo hoo, now we're cooking!
And the first deposits, but the red packaging doesn't belong. Our young gardeners have much to learn.
