An idea germinated from a grant from Slow Food of NNJ as an initiative to combat childhood obesity and to inspire environmental education, led to view an unutilized courtyard as a classroom. We are immensely grateful to all generous supporters, donors, who donated time, talent, resources, cash, gifts or something else. All selflessly gave to benefit and to inspire sustainability. The School With Heart looks forward to nurturing more tasty crops and inquisitive young minds in the coming seasons.

Gardening in the Classroom
To start the season, Ms Jackson's 2nd grade class read in the garden and is starting seedlings in the classroom in a creative greenhouse.
