Nature's Heart: Gardening is believing in tomorrow.

An idea germinated from a grant from Slow Food of NNJ as an initiative to combat childhood obesity and to inspire environmental education, led to view an unutilized courtyard as a classroom. We are immensely grateful to all generous supporters, donors, who donated time, talent, resources, cash, gifts or something else. All selflessly gave to benefit and to inspire sustainability. The School With Heart looks forward to nurturing more tasty crops and inquisitive young minds in the coming seasons.

LET'S CHECK BACK WITH THE THIRD GRADE'S CABBAGE PLANTS...

The third graders were excited to receive their Bonnie Mega Cabbage before spring break.

In 10-12 weeks the plants will have full heads ready to be harvested.

The growth of Mrs. Rella's cabbage over the last two months is seen in pictures below.
