Nature's Heart: Gardening is believing in tomorrow.

An idea germinated from a grant from Slow Food of NNJ as an initiative to combat childhood obesity and to inspire environmental education, led to view an unutilized courtyard as a classroom. We are immensely grateful to all generous supporters, donors, who donated time, talent, resources, cash, gifts or something else. All selflessly gave to benefit and to inspire sustainability. The School With Heart looks forward to nurturing more tasty crops and inquisitive young minds in the coming seasons.

GROUND BREAKING!

It was a beautiful day in the garden with a mix of families, friends, teachers, staff, WOHS Green Team members, community members, NNJ Slow Food members, all volunteering with

pride, pleasure and heart.

It’s not too late; you can join us on May 7^th and 14^th

for more rewarding days.

Hey, great work Redwoodies! This garden is really coming together. Can't wait to get back in there and haul more dirt with my super-strong 3rd grade buddy!
